Thailand is set to welcome fully vaccinated tourists from ten low-risk countries back in the kingdom without quarantine requirements from November 1, as announced by PM Prayuth Chan-o-cha on public television last night (October 12). During the broadcast, Prayuth admitted that the pandemic is considered one of the biggest challenges in the country's history, and not a single individual is not affected by the crisis.
Seeing steady progress in the situation, the PM believed that it is time to help the people get back on their feet, which led to the announcement of Thailand's reopening. He revealed that fully-vaccinated international visitors from at least 10 low-risk nations, such as the United Kingdom, Singapore, Germany, China, and the United States, will be able to enter Thailand with no mandatory quarantine.
Another exciting announcement was a plan to allow the return of bar business. December 1 is the date that the government is set to bring boozy joy back in restaurants and other drinking venues. "We will consider allowing diners to drink alcohol in a restaurant and opening entertainment venues in order to promote tourism now that the festive season is approaching."
