Bangkok's popular dessert vendor Kanom Siam is prepping up to churn out the very first pandan pancake infused with cannabis. Yes, you didn't misread it—Thailand is about to have the first pot-flavored hot snack!

Back on February 6, the Facebook post by Kanom Siam broke the Internet with the store's announcement to launch the new take on its signature pandan pancake with the addition of cannabis mixed in the recipe. "Be prepared for our new product, Cannabis-Infused Pandan Pancake, soon!," wrote the store, and the post has been shared over 14,000 times since.

Kanom Siam is a well-known vendor for Thai desserts with the first branch opened back in 1975 in the area of Siam Square. Some of its most popular hot treats include the pandan pancake (aka Kanom Kiao), coconut pancake (aka Khao Ji), and Thai-style pancake (aka Kanom Tokyo). The vendor has been attracting crowds of all ages with its sweet aroma of the pandan all over the area, and now it has branched out to other spots in Siam Paragon (G Floor), The EmQuartier (G Floor), and Suan Plern Market, with the original branch closed in 2017.

Thailand will probably see more cannabis-infused products more often after the plant has been legalized for medical purposes, and now there's an increasing number of restaurants attempting to push the use of cannabis in foodstuffs. For the revamped version of Kanom Kiao by Kanom Siam, the date of when it will be sold hasn't been announced yet, but you can now prepare to get the taste of this happy plant in the sweet and soft pancake from the store very soon.
