Sometimes there’s a deep meaning behind my tattoos, and sometimes it’s because I like the design and it would look good on my arm. It’s that simple. It just depends on the occasion. Sometimes it’s next to no thought. Sometimes I think about it for months or more. It’s not realistic to think that there’s a huge meaning
behind every single tattoo on everyone. Sometimes people just like the way it looks. Or they like the idea of it. I think, when I was a kid, I just wanted what a kid wants. It was a way to express and decorate yourself.
I like the artwork. I like the experience of sitting down, talking to the artist. I don’t mind pain from the tattoos or sitting for tattoos. I’ve always enjoyed it. A lot of my tattoos are a mix, and a lot of them are American traditional style tattoos. I also have a few surreal, psychedelic tattoos. I got a few pieces inspired by works of art, portraits of my favorite authors, and my favorite spice in the world. They are things I like, and I don’t regret any of them to be honest. I think people overthink tattoos a lot. My attitude and approach is just to enjoy them.
