We all love khao tom kui (Thai-Chinese-style porridge with side dishes), especially when it’s prepared by a noteworthy and well-respected venue like Supanniga Eating Room. The popular restaurant has just transformed the second floor of its Thonglor branch into a khao tum kui shop called Ruay Mitr (“lots of friends” in Thai). Expect jasmine rice porridge with a wide variety of side dishes such as minced pork and shrimp fried in lemongrass, and minced pork leng (spicy clear soup).
