Calling all Gunpla collectors! It’s time to burn more holes in your pocket as a Gundam store opens right in the heart of Bangkok!
The Gundam Base Thailand is the Japanese toy brand’s flagship in Southeast Asia and, just like other stores across the region, is dedicated to a vast collection of Gunpla collectibles from characters and vehicles to limited-edition merchandise and model kits, including beloved ’80s Gundam universe figures by Bandai. Located in Ideaopolis (first floor of Siam Center), the store is a collaboration between Bandai Namco Asia and Thai importer Dream Toy.
The store also displays a two-meter RX-78 Gundam robot, and the iconic Unicorn Gundam and Gundam Barbatos.
Until 28 November, the store will be hosting a Gunpla Builders Contest 2021 in search of Thailand’s best builders, as well as an exclusive Model Kits Caravan event for all Gunpla enthusiasts.
