Shopping centers to reopen with adjusted operating hours from Sep 1

September 1, 2021 marks the reopening of shopping malls in Bangkok after a month-long lockdown, and here's when you can visit them during the day.

After closing their doors to the public for one month to comply with the government's lockdown measures to contain the worsening pandemic in high-risk areas (including Bangkok), shopping malls and department stores are now allowed to reopen from the 1st of September. There are still some strict regulations remaining like night curfew from 21:00 and face mask-wearing.

To help you plan out your trip to any mall for shopping or other leisure activities, we have listed out the schedules of major venues below.

Siam Piwat

  • ICONSIAM: Daily (11:00-20:00)
  • Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery, Siam Center: Mon-Fri (11:00-20:00) & Sat-Sun (10:00-20:00) 

Central Department Stores

  • All Central-branded shopping malls: Daily (11:00-20:00)
  • Tops Market, Tops Superstore, and Central Food Hall: Daily (08:00-20:00)
  • Tops Daily: Daily (06:00-20:00)
  • Matsumoto KiYoshi and Tops Superstore: Daily (08.00-20.00)
  • Note: Central Group requires patrons to present proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test before entering the premises. 

The Mall Group

  • EmQuartier and The Emporium: Mon-Fri (11:00-20:00) & Sat-Sun (10:00-20:00)
  • The Mall and The Mall Lifestore: Daily (10:00-20:00)
  • Gourmet Market, Take Home, and Food Hall: Daily (10:00-20:00)
  • Other standalone Gourmet Market shops:
    • MRT Ladprao & MRT Petchburi: Daily (07:00-20:00)
    • People Park (Onnut): Daily (09:00-20:00)
