After launching Siri House to attract Singaporean investors and epicureans at the posh residential area of Dempsey Hill, luxury property developer Sansiri now opens its door to Bangkok’s version of Siri House in leafy Soi Somkid.

Located in the same compound as high-end furniture retailer Fritz Hansen, the new kid of Soi Somkid is tucked inside a 1950s house sitting in the land that once belonged to Prince Narisara Nuvadtivings, a son of King Rama IV. The modern Sukhumvit-style exterior blends harmoniously with other habitats of well-to-do folks in the area. The backyard, however, hides a small garden dubbed Bimini, complete with a swimming pool, making the venue perfect for an upbeat pool party.

Different corners of Siri House are occupied by restaurants and bars, aiming to draw food-loving crowds to this quiet part of Chidlom. The main hall is taken over by Quince, the famous Western restaurant that has been relocated from Soi Sukhumvit 45.

Here, the eatery follows the footsteps of its Vietnamese outpost, taking with it wood-fired grilled goodies and other Quince’s favorites. Connecting to the main room is a corridor housing Pan’s Road-originated Luka café, as well as other retailers such as bookstore Booksmiths, florist Heartmade, and vinyl store Olympic Digger.

The whole second floor is dominated by Jacqueline, a cocktail bar that churns out refreshing cocktails, making it perfect for after-work pregaming. In the day time, the bar also functions as the lounge for Sansiri residents.
