Following a positive back in January when Samrub Samrub Thai and Anantara Siam Hotel first co-launched popup dinners at the hotel's Spice Market restaurant, the two partners have decided to strike while the iron is hot, asking the chef to stay a little bit longer. The result is a six-month chef takeover everyone is talking about.
From now until Oct 31, 2021, Spice Market, Anantara Siam Hotel's signature Thai restaurant, will be taken over by Chef Prin Polsuk and the culinary team behind one of Bangkok’s most talked about private dining kitchens, Samrub Sumrub Thai.
Spice Market by Samrub Samsub Thai offers two meals a day; a 5-course lunch menu and 7- and 10-course dinner. Highlight dishes include raw cured fish with mustard green and mint; southern grilled chicken with coconut cream; and sour fruit relish with shrimp paste and dried prawn, served with fresh fruit and vegetables, and grilled fish with turmeric. Chef Prin’s classic traditional beef curry is undoubtedly a showstopper.
The set menus are priced at B1,100 for the 5-course lunch and B2,300 and B2,800 for the 7- and 10-course dinner menus, respectively. Reservations can be made via phone call 0 2126 8866 or email dining.asia@anantara.com.
Note: Samrub Samrub Thai at 100 Mahaset on Mahaset Road in Charoenkrung is operated as usual.
