After months of waiting, Kingdom: Ashin of the North, a spinoff episode of the popular zombie show Kingdom, featuring South Korean megastar Jun Ji-Hyun in the lead, will get to go live today.
Netflix celebrates the return of one of its most popular zombie shows by teaming up with hyped milk tea brand Fire Tiger to churn out a special limited edition drink every Kingdom hyper-fan here would crave, named the "Resurrection Drink." Inspired by the purple color and the concept of "revival" of the mysterious plant, the drink is made with heat-combating refreshing ingredients such as cold-pressed mangosteen juice, butterfly pea juice, and soda, and topped with lychee popping boba and konjac balls. It will be served in a reusable purple cup.
Well, this "Resurrection Drink" doesn't come cheap. It is insanely priced at B330 per cup, available exclusively on LINEMAN and for pick up at two of Fire Tiger branches in Siam Square.
Kingdom: Ashin of the North is a special spinoff episode that explores the origin of the resurrection plant that became the root cause of a zombie catastrophe in the hugely successful Kingdom series. See the trailer here.
