Outer Sukhumvit has recently welcomed a new shopping and lifestyle destination—and it’s huge! Taking over the space vacated by Piyarom Sports Club in Phra Kanong, Third Place 101 is part of a three-part, mixed-used complex that also includes a condominium development and office spaces. Apart from offering a gamut of dining and shopping options, the new mall also features “24-hour Street,” which is home to cafes and restaurants that are open around the clock. Third Place 101 is also the first department store in Thailand to put a real focus on waste-reduction and eco-sustainability efforts (some of the furniture in the venue is produced from construction waste of the building). Third Place 101 is also home to Asia’s biggest Virgin Active fitness center, which comes complete with an infinity pool and an LED-lit, multi-functional sports court.
