While Bangkok has recently been witnessing a surge in the number of fine-dining openings, one Michelin-starred L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Bangkok is shut down after its last dinner service on 30 April.
As announced on the restaurant’s Facebook page, MahaNakhon CUBE, the building resided by the restaurant, will be closed for “further improvements and renovation”, which allegedly leads to the closure of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon. For four years, the restaurant gave Bangkok epicureans a glimpse of French cooking for which the culinary legend Joël Robuchon has been praised world-wide, as delivered by chef Olivier Limousin, in the swanky sushi bar-inspired setting.
This comes just a year after the closure of three Michelin-starred Joël Robuchon Restaurant at Resort World Sentosa in Singapore last year.
