The responsible-eating scene in Bangkok is getting more excited with the local launch of popular plant-based food producer OmniFoods. The Hong Kong-based label has finally brought in the new meatless product, OmniMeat Luncheon, to leading restaurants and supermarkets all over Bangkok.

OmniFoods proudly presents the luncheon as the world's first plant-based take on this ubiquitous easy foodstuff. Revealed in the press are the ingredients of this luncheon, which consist of "a blend of non-GMO soy and wheat" that has good fiber, high protein, and zero cholesterol.

To spread the word about its official arrival, OmniFoods joins hands with a number of well-known eateries around Bangkok to create new dishes out of the plant-based ingredient. Lao Teng, Vistro, Bangkok City Diner, Salada Organic Kitchen and Fitmeal are the joining restaurants where you can stop by to taste if the luncheon by OmniFoods is as good as it promises.

Fans of dim sun can try the meat-free luncheon from Streamed OmniMeat Luncheon Dumplings with Truffle Oil Flavor (B110) at Lao Teng, while Vistro will be churning out the Shawarma Mia wrap stuffed with the new luncheon (B340).

OmniMeat Luncheon is available now in supermarkets as an easy-to-prepare package of six pieces and the aforementioned restaurants if you fancy a ready-made dish for you.
