When you think Charoenkrung couldn't get more happening than it currently is, something new is on its way to pop out in the area again. Last month, we reported an exclusive piece on a new creative space set to open in Soi Charoenkrung 34 in the summer this year. Now, the hip area will get to welcome a new retail member some time next year.
Property developer Boutique Corporation, whose portfolio includes lifestyle malls like Rainhill on Sukhumvit 47, has announced a new lifestyle mall project that's set to locate at the Chan-Charoenkrung junction, close to the currently-happening Four Seasons and Capella hotels. Expanding on the area of 2,100 sqm, this new mall will feature three floors and 18 individual retail units aimed to sublet for shopping stores, restaurants, and educational institutions. It's also equipped with a parking lot for 34 cars.
According to the press release, the mall will boast a "minimal Nordic-style façade" with a tasteful wooden decoration that exudes Charoenkrung's rich history together with "an open and airy contemporary feel" that will appeal to anyone passing by the intersection.
Boutique Corporation expects the mall to complete in the second quarter of 2022.
