Relive the Tham Luang saga as Netflix gives a first look into the limited series based on the famous 2018 cave rescue mission in the area.

Simply titled Thai Cave Rescue, the six-episode show takes a different approach from Amazon Prime Video’s recently released Thirteen Lives, which focuses solely on what’s going on with the rescuing process. Netflix’s version explores multiple narratives from both local and foreign volunteers, as well as the 12 football players who were trapped inside the cave along with their coach.

Nattawut “Baz” Poonpiriya (Bad Genius and One for the Road) and Kevin Tancharoen (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) co-directed the series, which stars Urassaya "Yaya" Sperbund, Manatsanun "Donut" Phanlerdwongsakul and the late Papangkorn “Beam” Lerkchaleampote. Thai Cave Rescue will premiere on Netflix on 22 September.
