Tonight (Oct 8), Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, better known as Wat Khaek, is hosting the annual Navaratri Festival Parade featuring to conclude its nine-night sacred festival. As a result, Silom and Narathiwat Roads will be partially, temporarily closed from 18:00 onward.
Here are the sections of Silom affected:
1. Silom Road from Nararom junction in front of Thai Airways Company Limited to Surasak Intersection in front of Holiday Inn Hotel will be closed at 18:00.
2. Narathiwat Road from Narinthorn Intersection in front of Sathorn Square Building to Nararom Intersection, in front of Thai Airways International Company Limited will be closed at 18:00.
3. North Sathorn Road from the Sathorn Intersection in front of Honda Car Center (Sathorn) to Narinthorn intersection in front of Sathorn Square building will be closed at 20:00.
4. Surasak Road, from Surasak Intersection in front of Holiday Inn Hotel to Sathorn in front of Honda Car Center (Sathorn) will be closed at 20:00.
