Last year, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok celebrated the Jay Festival for the first time in its 144-year history by coming up with innovative plant-based dishes at The Verandah and Lord Jim’s.

This time around, the iconic hotel is once again doing its share to promote this meat-free week by introducing a vegan version of its popular high tea at the Author’s Lounge. Spend a lazy afternoon nibbling on savory and sweet morsels made without meat, seafood, dairy, eggs or gluten.

Highlights include a vegan protein and vegan cheddar cheese puff, double-decker sandwich of vegan bratwurst sausage with Dijon mustard, charcoal tart made with rice milk, matcha and yuzu cake, and a golden sultana scone with homemade jam and tofu spread.
