Phuket's massive resort quarter Laguna Phuket looks to revive Phuket's tourism and economy with a huge festival entitled "Revive 555 Festival". The festival is set to begin on March 31 and expand until April 18 with a line-up of A-listed Thai artists alongside activities and events all through.
It's been almost two years since tourism in Thailand's busiest tourist spot was first knocked off by the sudden emergence of coronavirus. Hotels, resorts, and an endless number of entertainment and dining venues had to bid farewell to the island due to the devastating absence of tourists. But now in 2021, tourism in Phuket is about to reach the end of difficult times.
Revive 555 Festival is the latest endeavor in the province hosted by Laguna Phuket with a goal to attract both Thai and ex-pats alike to participate in reviving the region's livelihood. Across three weekends starting from March 31, you will get to revel in the same old vibrancy of Phuket with events of all sorts ranging from sports, music, culture, to art.
Some of the biggest highlights include local gastronomy showcase Roy Rim Lay on April 10-12, a beach run by Xana Beach Club on April 11, Laguna Phuket Pride 2021 on April 12-15, a Laguna Golf Phuket tournament on April 14, Phuket's very first Surf Skate event, and many more to expect.
Concert-goers will also experience blow-out live music by local talents such as Kong Saharat, Da Endorphine, Yes'sir Days, Pop Pongkool, LABANOON, Golf F. Hero, Thaitanium, Ice Saranyu and Instinct
What's more, Laguna Phuket is joined by its five hotel members, namely Angsana Laguna Phuket, Banyan Tree Phuket, Cassia Phuket, Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket, and Saii Laguna Phuket, that will each roll out special activities and exclusive promotions to maximize the experience of all festival visitors.
