Johnnie Walker kicks off "WALK," a new campaign that looks to push the boundaries for local creative minds

We all know that one of the biggest keys to success is to never stop trying, doing and walking. Johnnie Walker, the world’s leading purveyor of Scotch Whiskey, is always committed to being the best companion who endorses you in every step of your life, with the globally-famous “Keep Walking” campaign that always inspires you to move forward to grab opportunities and achieve life goals.

To celebrate the festive season, Johnnie Walker Thailand has decided to kick off a new local campaign that adheres to the brand’s commitment to inspire people, “WALK Bangkok.” WALK is designed to champion Thai creative collectives who use their creativity to move culture forward without losing its heritage and also appeal to the new generation and their lifestyle. The Scotch whiskey giant took over Beans, a new edgy nightclub in Ekkamai, for one night to throw a launch party for the program that targets millennials in four trending angles: art, fashion, music, and drinks.

In Art, Johnnie Walker invited young Thai pop artists Tikkywow to create multi-disciplinary art expression on the brand’s iconic Striding Man, which was also showcased at the launch event before being transported to different venues all over Thailand to ignite art appreciations.

In Music, the Scotch whiskey behemoth headlined the event with a band of musical talents who has taken traditional Thai music to the next level, Paradise Bangkok. Joining the fun were kick-ass spinners such as DJs Maft Sai, Pa Daokanong and Iew Trasher.

In Fashion, Johnnie Walker introduces Johnnie Walker Style, a fashion collection that the whiskey king partners up with local denim fashion brand Indigoskin. The capsule collection was inspired by traditional kanok pattern, local indigo-dyed fabric and the brand’s multifaceted characters. Items that were showcased at the launch event received much attention from partygoers.

Last but not least, the event was lifted up into high spirits thanks to the craft concoctions made of local ingredients Johnnie Walker specially created for the event.
