Today (May 3) is the first day the first easing stage of COVID-19 restrictions is put into action, which includes the reopening of public parks across Bangkok. Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) had suspended access to all public parks since Apr 2 to prevent the risk of coronavirus infection.
On its first reopening Sunday, Chatuchak Park saw fewer parkgoers than usual. The park also enforces a few preventive measures such as everyone must access through the Pahonyothin Road entrance, where basic temperature screening is exercised, jog in your lane, and keep a safe distance from the others.
