Another office building has opened in Phoenchit, just across from Central Embassy. And there’s no way you could have missed this one because it’s amazingly high—61 floors and 275.76 meters tall, to be precise.

Called One City Center (OCC), the building is owned by Raimon Land and Mitsubishi Estate, and was designed and conceptualized by award-winning architectural firm SOM (Skidmore, Owings & Merill) in tandem with other respected studios Design 103, Tandem, and DWP.  Inside, the building adopts cutting-edge engineering and green technology, including high-tech ventilation and water pumping systems, and high-end glass walls. Outside, it features a 5,000-square-meter green space, which is rare in downtown Bangkok, and the latest branch of hip coffee shop %Arabica.

A multiple-floor rooftop dining area (said to be on floors 58 to 61) will open later this year. So you can take advantage of the cool weather while gazing at panoramic views of the capital.

OCC is connected to BTS Ploenchit station.
