For the second straight year, the ASEAN Music Showcase (AMS), Southeast Asia’s first intraregional music showcase, was hosted as a virtual event from 11 to 13 September. Once again, emerging musical acts from across the region—four per country—came together online to showcase their talent.
What made this sophomore effort more special was the inclusion of two new countries— Cambodia and Vietnam—to the roster, rounding up an event that also included artists from Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore. The result was an impressive line-up of 28 talents who took turns rocking out top-notch performances that pushed musical boundaries.
Representing Thailand this year were four artists from different genres: Alec Orachi (soul/R&B), ASIA7 (Asian pop), Réjizz (hip-hop), and S.O.L.E., who defines their music as “rave n’ roll”.
You can watch their performances on the official AMS website, and you can also find out more about the festival through its Facebook page.
