It is announced that five-star hotel brand Hyatt Regency is set to open up a new massive property on Koh Samui this July. Situated in the north of Chaweng Bay, the upcoming resort is also the first venture under the Hyatt brand to launch on the island.
Hyatt Recency Koh Samui expands on a private coastline in the north-eastern edge of Chaweng Bay that is widely known for being the island's center of nightlife and gastronomic attractions. Local design studios The Office of Bangkok Architects (OBA), August Design Consultant, and PLandscape (PLA) are commissioned to design the resort's aesthetics. The property will feature 140 rooms and suites, four pools (hence a resort with the biggest pool zone in Samui), a fitness center, a spa, and four restaurants and bars.
