We’re sure you’ve already heard that, as part of its reopening campaign, Hong Kong is giving away 500,000 return tickets for free to travelers from all over the world. New details have just dropped, including the number of tickets allocated to Thailand and other Southeast Asian nations.

Eighty thousand tickets have been allocated to Southeast Asia, 17,400 of which will go to people living in Thailand. The campaign for Southeast Asia kicks off in March, starting with Thailand on 1 March, followed by Singapore (2 March), The Philippines (3 March) and Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Cambodia in the next two weeks.

To be eligible for this special giveaway, you need to (1) make sure you’re a Cathay member (if you’re an Asia Miles member, you need to login again as they have restructured the loyalty program); (2) visit the campaign website and login in with your Cathay membership details; and (3) have to be among the first 17,400 people in Thailand to answers three questions correctly. That’s about it, really.

Each winner will get a roundtrip ticket to Hong Kong either on Cathay Pacific or its low-cost subsidiary Hong Kong Airlines. The Hong Kong Tourism Board has also partnered with local businesses to give away A LOT of cash and discount vouchers (dubbed 1 million goodies) to visitors at all immigration checkpoints.

Good luck!
