The Miami-born music festival has announced its extension to Thailand in 2023 via its official Twitter account.

More exciting news for Thailand’s live entertainment scene. The Rolling Loud festival will debut in the country soon, marking the arrival of another international music franchise after UK’s EDM event Creamfields took over Nong Nooch Garden in Pattaya last May.

Rolling Loud first launched in Miami in February 2015 as a one-day affair that featured  hip-hop personalities such as Juicy J and Schoolboy Q. In 2019, the festival broke out to other major cities in the US, such as New York City and Los Angeles, and around the globe in Hilvarenbeek in the Netherlands and Sydney in Australia. It was supposed to make its Asian debut in Hong Kong in 2019, but had to cancel due to political unrest in the territory at the time.

In 2022, Rolling Loud went back to Miami, headlining A-list hip-hop stars such as Kid Cudi (a replacement for Kanye West, who eventually made a surprise appearance during Lil Durk’s performance), Future, and Trippie Redd.

Further information regarding the date, venue and line-up for Rolling Loud’s Thailand edition has yet to be released. Watch this space for future announcements.
