Fans of rock music in the city must have been banging their head to the upbeat music while reveling in hearty meal and booze at Hard Rock Café Bangkok. However, this legendary rock café chain has announced some sad news to the Hard Rockers.

"Dear Hard Rockers," the café wrote on the Facebook post, "Since opening the doors of Hard Rock Café Bangkok in March 1991, we have enjoyed playing a major role in the city’s dining and music culture for the past 30 years. On Wednesday, March 31st , 2021, Hard Rock Café Bangkok (Siam Square) will PAUSE and close its restaurant while the Rock Shop will remain open until the 30th of June 2021. The Rock Shop at Erawan will remain open as usual."

This announcement comes across as shocking news to the city, as this rock music-forward establishment has been an iconic landmark in the area of Siam Square for three decades. Nevertheless, Hard Rock revealed in the post that the reason for this departure is the completion of 30-year lease at the very location. This means the venue will make a comeback at a new location, which will be announced soon.

Until then, Hard Rock Café Bangkok invites the regulars and those who never get to experience the head-banging atmosphere there, for the last time, to bid farewell to the venue with hot deals for meal and drinks all evening long, including a 50% discount for all burgers and a buy-one-get-one-free drink!
