After five years of being ruled by the junta government, the country will finally get the chance to vote for its leaders. The Election Commission of Thailand has announced that the general election (the first since 2014) will take place on March 24. More than 66 million Thai citizens are eligible to vote for 500 representatives (350 through direct elections, 150 through the party-list system) that, together with the senators, will pick the prime minister who will run the country for the next four years.
