After what has seemed like a long wait, the moment has finally arrived. Drag Race Thailand is returning to the werkroom (known for its drag queen playground) after a five-year hiatus, complete with fabulous judge Pangina Heals. Start your engines now and countdown to October 16.
This season, Pangina Heals makes a grand return as judge, a role she originally performed in past episodes. Since the previous show, the drag icon has been killing it. She's competing on RuPaul's Drag Race UK vs. the World, touring the globe, and starring in both RuPaul's Drag Race live in Las Vegas and the show Tongue Thai'd on WOW Presents Plus.
In November 2022, O4 Media acquired the franchise licence to produce season three from the Kantana Group and World of Wonder. While Pangina may already be a familiar face to many, the new season of Drag Race Thailand brings a number of changes, including a brand new stage and a glowed-up werkroom. And, of course, there will be new drag artists competing for the title of Thailand's next drag superstar.
Get ready for some serious glamour and excitement because the list of 11 contestants is here. Benze Diva, Frankie Wonga, Gawdland, Gigi Ferocious, Kara Might, Nane Sphera, Shortgun, Siam Phusri, Spicy Sunshine, Sriracha Hotsauce, and Zepee are all set to take the stage and show us what they've got. Prepare your nails, hair, hips, heels ready and may the best drag queen win!.
There is no doubt that Rupaul's Drag Race has enjoyed a long and distinguished history as a popular and well-regarded part of pop culture. As it provides a platform for drag artistry, it has made an impact on the LGBTQ+ community and inspired a number of its spin-off shows as well as international franchises.
Stay tuned for the third season of Drag Race Thailand, back with a bang on WOW Present Plus Asia on October 16.
