The 2019 New York Pride March, aka Pride Parade, will be on fire as the three finalists from the 2019 Drag Race Thailand are officially invited by the New York Office of the Tourism Authority of Thailand to walk with the Thailand float in the main parade to promote Thailand as a nation of diversity and an LGBTQ destination.
The three Thai drag queens are Angele Anang, the first-ever trans winner of all Drag Race franchise, Kandy Zyanide, and Kara Warrior. The Pride March will be taking place around Manhattan, New York, on Sunday, Jun 30.
2019 also marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, the inception of Pride, and the occasion New York is hosting the World Pride event, so things surely get bigger and more fabulous this year. (FYI: Madonna will play this year's finale show!)
