Global streaming service giant Disney+ is finally ready to take off in Thailand under the name Disney+ Hotstar on June 30. The annual subscription package will be priced at B799, which allows streaming on two screens simultaneously per account.
At the online press conference today (June 8), the service announced an exciting line-up led by Disney+ Originals and Marvel Studios’ programs: WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and Loki; The Mandalorian, Luca, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and The Mysterious Benedict Society.
Alongside Disney's own production, you will be able to binge a lot of Asian content. Disney+ Hotstar has signed a deal with local Thai studios, namely GDH599, Sahamongkolfilm, One 31, and Kantana, which results in a massive array of Thai films and series available on the platform. Moreover, K-series maniacs can also expect to watch the new one by Korean sweetheart Gong Yoo in sci-fi film Seobok. There are also more productions from Taiwan, China, and Japan.
Music fans can also stream Taylor Swift's latest documentary and live session about her career-defining record folklore with folklore: the long pond studio sessions. Meanwhile, National Geographic is set to avail its back catalog of world-exploring documentaries which will take you on endless journeys.
