Lauded Manhattan's biggest coworking space company and one of the world’s fastest growing (it was born in New York City in 2010 and now has 485 locations in 105 cities), WeWork is the latest global sharing office conglomerate to land in Bangkok (after Spaces and Regus). The company has two locations in the city, one in Sathorn (five floors at Asia Centre building) and another in Thonglor (seven floors at Ichitan-powered T-One building).
Both WeWork locations offer beautifully-designed, 24-hour accessible areas, private offices, designed desks, meeting rooms, common areas where you can mingle with like-minded individuals, and elevated views of two of Bangkok’s most vibrant neighborhoods. (The one at T-One has rotating beers on tabs and coffee from Sarnies—fancy!)
But what makes WeWork different from the other players—and perhaps the reason why many Fortune 500 companies have chosen to go with it—is WeWork Labs, an exclusive platform that provides education, mentorship and, most importantly, connections for startups to take off. At a recent press tour, a WeWork staff explained how they help connect two (or more) startups that could benefit and complement each other so they could co-grow their businesses.
