Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) has announced on its official Facebook page today (April 27) that public buses will reduce their services during working hours to comply to Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA)'s seeking for people's cooperation to work from home and avoid leaving their households in order to control the coronavirus contagion.

The upcoming announcement came after the reduction of night bus services operating during 23:00 and 04:00, due to the closure of night-time businesses following the citywide coronavirus outbreak.

However, BMTA asserted that only routes with fewer passengers will be affected by this policy.
