This October, the riverfront Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel will get to welcome Francesco Gasbarro, the chef/owner of one-Michelin-starred La Bottega Italian restaurant in Geneva, Switzerland, at its long-time famed Italian establishment Giorgio's for three evenings, from Thursday 10 to Saturday 12. His dinners are part of 11th Italian Cuisine & Wines World Summit.
Taking inspiration from his Italian roots, the Florence-born culinary master is praised for pleasing haute palates with modern, redefined Italian dishes that are full of surprises. To little doubt, he earned the Michelin Star within only five months of the opening, and sister eatery Osteria Della Bottega was also mentioned in the Bib Gourmand section of the same red-covered guidebook.
At Sheraton's Giorgio's, Chef Francesco will host three "The Star of Italy" dinners, each of which features six courses of progressive Italian delicacies, such as pasta calamarata seafood with white beans, and snapper or Hamachi fish with bean needle and cacciucco sauce.
