The Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) confirmed to cut down the night curfew one hour from both ends on October 16 onwards.
CCSA's spokesperson Dr. Taweesilp Visanuyothin announced yesterday (October 14) that night curfew in Bangkok and other "dark-red areas" will be shaved off from between 22:00 and 04:00 to between 23:00 and 03:00. The announcements also detailed the extension of the opening hours of various types of venues. Restaurants, to start with, will be able to serve diners until as late as 22:00, while alcohol sales are still prohibited. Shopping malls, movie theaters, beauty and massage parlors, sports centers, and public parks could also open until 22:00.
The authorities have updated the list of areas labeled as "dark-red" or high-risk, which now includes 23 provinces (formerly 29) and Bangkok remains one of them.
