The BTS Gold Line and the Green Line’s northern extension will officially start running on Wednesday, 16 December.
In our last update, we reported that the Gold Line will operate on a driverless system. For now, it encompasses 1.8km, and stops at stations in Krung Thonburi, Charoen Nakhon and Klong San, with a fee of B15 all throughout.
The Green Line has been extended to include seven more stops: Phahon Yothin 59, Sai Yud, Saphan Mai, Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital, Royal Thai Air Force Museum, Yaek Kor Por Aor, and Khu Khot. The last station is the first skytrain stop outside of Bangkok.
With the opening of the BTS Gold Line, you can travel more easily to landmark attractions and must-visit places around the Charoen Nakhon area, including ICONSIAM where you can now enjoy an array of Christmas and New Year activities and celebrations.
