Boxing legend Bua Kaw to fight Japanese MMA heartthrob Kota Miura at Rajadamnern this Friday

Thailand’s longest-running boxing stadium is holding a fight for the books as part of its relaunch.

Expect a show-stopping match when Muay Thai icon Bua Kaw returns to the boxing ring, this time to test his skills against Japanese MMA star and internet heartthrob Kota Miura.

This memorable fight is arranged as part of the relaunch of Rajadamnern, Thailand’s longest-running boxing stadium, which first opened in 1945.

Buakaw Bunchamek, known mononymously as Bua Kaw, is one of Thailand’s best-known boxers and a Thai Fight champion. This is his first match at Rajadamnern Stadium in 18 years.

The 20-year-old Miura is one of Japan’s rising boxers. Born to footballer Kazuyoshi Miura and model Risako Miura, he debuted on the boxing stage in 2021 and quickly rose to fame, thanks to a TKO win and, most importantly, his J-pop mien.
