Blackpink’s Thai-born member Lisa Manoban is set to take on a role in the third installment of The White Lotus, HBO’s award-winning dark humor series. Filming for the new season is scheduled to kick off in February, covering locations in Bangkok, Koh Samui, and Phuket.
Lisa will join a star-studded cast that already includes Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, and Arnas Fedaravičiu. The TV series will also feature a number of Thai actors, including respected Pataravadi Mejudon and Dom Hetrakul.
The White Lotus is known for its dark humor, revolving around a group of intriguing guests encountering unsettling events at the luxurious resort named The White Lotus. They will portray a fresh set of guests at the latest White Lotus property. The Tourism Authority of Thailand is reported to support the production.
