The Bangkok Riverside Fest 2023 returns to the capital after a three-year hiatus. and will feature an exhilarating line-up of fun-filled activities and events throughout its three-day run, including live performances by Thailand’s latest musical acts.
Booked for the stage are popular artists such as PiXXiE, POLYCAT, VIOLETTE WAUTIER, MEAN, LIPTA, 4EVE, patrickananda, and Wanyai Feat. Mon Monik. Talented DJs will also be playing lively sets to make sure there won’t be any lull in between the performances.
Food lovers can gravitate towards the Gourmet Zone, where stalls and kiosks will be selling both local and international cuisine. You are also welcome to explore the Community Zone, a space dedicated to the artistic creations and eye-popping installations of local artisans, as well as vintage and pre-loved merchandise sold at the lifestyle markets. Visitors with kids won’t have to worry as there will be a Play Zone where young ’uns can engage in fun activities.
But the main highlight of the Bangkok Riverside Fest is the boat races. The 2023 edition will see a bevy of teams participating in this high-energy competition, including The Royal Thai Navy Seals, who will be rowing their iconic elephant-themed boats. Teams and individuals will also try their luck at winning a medal for other watersports, including stand up paddle boarding (SUP) and kayaking.
Tickets for the 2023 Bangkok Riverside Fest are priced at B300 each per day. But if you’re willing to cough up B3,999 per day, you can opt for the full VIP treatment, which includes all day free-flow drinks and light snacks at VIP tents. Children under 12 get in for free. Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to elephant sanctuaries and foundations in Thailand.
Accessing the event is pretty easy. Complimentary parking is available at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort, Avani+ Riverside Hotel, and Riverside Plaza. (The event location is approximately 200 meters away from Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort.) Or you can also take the BTS to Saphan Taksin and walk about 100 meters to Sathon Pier for the free hotel shuttle boats to Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort, which run every 20 minutes until 23:15 hrs. A shuttle bus can also take you from the hotel to the festival site as well.
