After months of rumors, it is now confirmed that the 2018 Miss Universe, one of the most prestigious beauty contests, will be taking place in Bangkok in December. The event will be co-hosted by Miss Universe Organization, a subsidiary of talent agency WME/IMG, and Bangkok-based TW Investment Group. The venue hasn't yet been announced.
The contest will take place on Monday, Dec 16, 7:00 (Bangkok time) and will be broadcast live on Fox channel on 17 Dec, 19:00 (EST).
The last time Bangkok got to host the Miss Universe contest was 13 years ago in 2005, and the beauty queen who brought home the crown was Natalie Glebova.
