This September, Bangkok will welcome a new hangout for soul music lovers at Lancaster Hotel with Norwood Young’s Hollywood Soul Supper Club.
The upcoming spot boasts to be Bangkok’s first and only venue where guests can come and experience the “authentic American soul music”. Generation X’s R&B star Norwood Young, who’s now based in Bangkok, is slated to take over the supper club as the resident performer alongside his Hollywood Soul Band.
On the food front, it will be serving up American Soul cuisine “developed as a fine-dining concept” tweaked with contemporary sensibilities to create “Thoul Food” that combines some Thai influences. The club will introduce a three-course dinner (B2,000++) that includes a “Soultizzer”, a main dish, and a dessert, as well as a complimentary cocktail.
