Internationally renowned French chef Alain Ducasse is set to launch his cooking school École Ducasse in the heart of Bangkok early next year. The project is a collaboration between Thai hospitality Nai Lert Group and world-leading hospitality management education group Sommet Education. According to the press release, the project is aimed at enhancing Thailand as the regional hub for culinary and pastry arts training.

Bangkok's upcoming École Ducasse will find a home at the lush garden of Nai Lert Park Heritage Home in Phloen Chit. Nai Lert Group's CEO Naphaporn "Lek" Bodiratnangkura is proud to "provide a legendary culinary education and an exceptional gastronomy experience for Thailand" while believing that Ducasse's school will "support the emergence of new talents who will contribute the country's tourism dynamic."

Dubbed "École Ducasse - Nai Lert Bangkok Studio", the school is scheduled to open sometime in the first quarter of 2022 and designed to have a nearly 1,000 sqm space in the lush greenery of the heritage house. The courses will focus on both French and Thai cuisine in addition to the techniques of the institution's founder.

Apart from his multiple restaurants and cooking schools across the globe, Alain Ducasse has expanded one of his legacies in Bangkok, which is Blue by Alain Ducasse at ICONSIAM. The restaurant received its first Michelin star back in December 2020.
