SO Amazing Chefs at So Sofitel; 10am; from B3,000

So Sofitel Bangkok’s renowned star-studded fine-dining festival is returning for its seventh edition. From 12 chefs eight years ago when the event first started, So Amazing Chefs 2018 will involve a total of 30 award-winning chefs to churn out seven dinners and host seven culinary activities. Expect to see familiar faces such as Paul Liebrandt from Corton in New York and Nocilas Isnard from L’Auberge de la Charm in Prenois, France, team up with new faces include James Noble from The Pink Geranium in UK; Simon Scott from Bistrot Saveurs in Castes, France, Rob van der Veeken from De Karpendonske in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, and Guy Lassausaie from his namesake restaurant in Lyon France to satisfy foodophiles with awe-inspiration multi-national cuisines.

European Heritage Day at embassies of European countries; 9am; free

The embassies of European countries in Bangkok celebrate the European Heritage Day 2018 by opening up their ambassadorial residences, most of which enjoy a storied history, to the public. The five embassies joining the celebration are France, Belgium, Britain, The Netherlands and Portugal (the oldest foreign embassy in Thailand).

The event, of which the highlight is the guided tours around the premises, takes place on the weekend of 15-16 September. Check out the complete program here.

Mangosteen Music Festival at Voice Space; 5pm; B2,200

The second edition of the Mangosteen Music Festival features the Bangkok debut of British alternative rock band Wolf Alice. Other headliners include Violette Wautier and Yellow fang.

72 Courtyard x Rotganzen presents In Confetti We Trust at 72 Courtyard; 5pm; free

72 Courtyard collaborates with American design collective Rotganzen for an area-wide art installation inspired by confetti and its definition for happiness. In Confetti We Trust will be accompanied by a confetti-themed party with complimentary confetti-themed cocktails. The party starts from 5pm with music by DJs Guyboy and Supersonic.

BEAM Launch Party ft Snakehips at Beam; 9pm; B500

To celebrate the reopening of BEAM, the Thonglor dance arena will celebrate its re-opening with deejay duo Snakehips. The event will be supported by spinners NOXRO and Patty YourVillain. Expect to the club's new look and new drinks menu.

Ju Percussion Group Live in Bangkok at Thailand Cultural Centre; 7.30pm; B1,000

The Festival of Dance and Music celebrates its 20th anniversary this year with a line-up of renowned music and theater talents from around the world. One of the most anticipated shows is the live performance of the Ju Percussion Group, the award-winning percussion troupe from Taiwan that has wowed more than 150,000 people across the world over the past 30 years with powerful routines that cut across different music genres. For the Bangkok stage, the troupe, led by founder Tzong-Ching Ju, will perform one of their most praised shows, Stunning Virtuosity, on 16 September.

Disco Diaries - A Sunday Social at Tropic City; 3pm; B300

Tropic City joins forces with Late Night Bangkok for their third collaborative event called Disco Diaries - A Sunday Social. The bar will be transformed to a party paradise for you, partygoers.
