Made By Legacy at Sermsuk Warehouse; 3pm; B100

Bangkok’s favorite Made by Legacy is making a return. For the 10th edition, it is taking over the rivereside Sermsuk Warehouse with over 200 shops and vendors. The three-day event will showcase rare collectibles, furniture, exotic plants, arts and crafts, artisanal products, delicious food, drinks, live musical performances, DJ sets, and more. There will be a special pop-up shop displaying special Made By Thailand Collection featuring collaborative items from Made By Legacy and more than 20 long-time associated brands.

Vetal Suite at Nova Contemporary; 11am; free

Acclaimed artist Chatchai Puipai’s first exhibition in eight years introduces the imaginary chamber of Vetal, a fictional demon character created from his own imagination. A portrayal of the demon’s life is presented through drawings, written material and paintings.

Thai photographer Thamarong Wanarithikul captures lives of workmen on a pickup truck everyday in the morning, resulting in beautiful photographs that at first glance appear to be Social Realist paintings, full of detail in sharp focus.

Blackpink at Impact Arena; 6pm; B1,900-7,500

Blackpink, unarguably the hottest South Korean girl group today, has announced that they’ll be kicking off their In Your Area World Tour in Bangkok in 2019.

Formed by K-pop giant YG Entertainment in 2016, Blackpink consists of South Koreans Jisoo, Jennie and Rosé, and Thai-born member Lisa. The girl group is the highest-charting female K-pop group on the Billboard Hot 100, thanks to megahit "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du," which also set a record as the most-viewed Korean music video in 24 hours on YouTube at the time of its release.

Smurfs 60th Anniversary at ICONSIAM; 10am; free

ICONSIAM celebrates its first Children’s Day in blue—literally. Apart from putting together lots of activities to entertain little ones, the riverside megamall is throwing a birthday party for the Smurfs, those fictional dwarf-sized blue creatures who are turning 60 this year. You and your kids can traipse around a replica of the Smurfs’ Village where you’ll meet favorite characters like Papa Smurf, Smurfette and Brainy Smurf. Don’t forget to take a selfie with the four-meter-tall Giant Smurf dressed in a traditional Thai silk costume, created exclusively for the event.

Bangkok That Was: Photographs 1956-1961 by Fabrizio La Torre at Serindia Gallery; 11am; free

Fabrizio La Torre was an Italian photographer who lived in Bangkok from 1956 to 1961, commissioned to document and photograph the launch of renowned Italthai Industries company. During his time in the city, the avid art enthusiast also took thousands of photos of the city and its residents. Bangkok That Was showcases these rarely seen photographs in a double-venue exhibition simultaneously showing at Serindia Gallery and the National Museum.

Concert in the Park at Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park; 5.30pm; free

The Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra is making a return to a new venue at Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park to serenade the city’s park-goers with a free concert series, featuring legendary melodies, classic Disney songs, and music reminiscent of and composed by the late king. Ideal for Sunday picnics in the park.
