From laid-back beachside gatherings to high-octane parties in the middle of nature, Thailand’s music festival scene caters to all tastes and vibes. It’s time to hit up your calendar and start planning for an unforgettable experience at one of the kingdom’s many magical musical mash-ups. Here are our picks of the best.

Beatforest

Taking place on January 25, this festival celebrates nature, creativity and the opportunity to transform a barren landscape into a flourishing woodland. Hosted at the expansive Bonanza, Khao Yai just two hours from Bangkok, the festival encourages attendees to get involved in tree planting activities and connect with the environment. Music is at the heart of the occasion, aiming to create lasting memories while promoting a long-term vision: a vibrant forest in the future, sustained by those who attend. The festival blends artistic expression with environmental responsibility, offering a meaningful experience for all.

PELUPO

This two-day event, held on March 14-15, takes place in an expansive field surrounded by nature’s beauty. The festival promotes proper waste segregation, urging attendees to sort their trash to aid environmental conservation. It’s a family-oriented gathering with children welcome. The festival strongly advocates environmental sustainability, with a clear focus on preserving nature. In 2024, it proudly received the ‘All At Once Sustainability Award’ for its commitment to eco-friendly practices. With children in mind, headphones are available to shield young ears from loud music. To further protect them, a smoking zone is clearly separated from activity areas where kids engage in creative workshops that include drawing, colouring and learning about recycling.
