Time Out says

It’s one of Thailand’s key museums, located on Chao Fa Road in the historic Phra Nakhon District of Bangkok. Housed in the former Royal Thai Mint, the building features a unique design of interconnected square-shaped structures surrounding an open courtyard. It was inspired by the layout of a machinery factory in Birmingham, England. The gallery hosts two types of exhibitions: permanent displays featuring both traditional and contemporary art that trace the development of visual creativity from the Sukhothai period to the present; and rotating exhibitions that occur 2-4 times a month throughout the year. The exhibitions encompass a wide range of visual art forms, offering visitors a dynamic and comprehensive experience in Thai art.
