Perhaps Bangkok’s largest Hindu event, Navaratri (nine nights in Sanskrit) is the annual nine-night religious festival where devotees gather up at Sri Maha Uma Devi Temple to worship nine forms of Hindu god Uma Devi. The peak days are the last two days where there’s a parade of Hindu priests and statues along Sathorn and Silom roads, joined by local Hindus, enthusiasts, and tourists.
Here, Time Out photographers captured the best moments from the last night. You have one more night tonight (12 Oct) to experience a religious festival like nowhere else.
