You know Christmas is coming when shopping malls and hotels around town switch on festive light decorations. And this year CentralWorld is the first to kickstart the festive vibes, turning on Christmas lights and installations in front of and around the retail complex on Monday. The theme of this year is all about remembering the good old days and recalling heartwarming childhood memories filled with color and imagination, CentralWorld has therefore invited Argentinian illustrator, Javier González Burgos, best known around the globe for creating whimsical images for children’s storybooks, to develop cartoon characters exclusively for CPN’s shopping malls. Burgos takes us back in time with “The Dazzling Celebration,” a gorgeous display that features gigantic, five-meter-tall sculptures of Santa Claus and friends, and various art pieces. Burgos’ art complements the Gifts Festival, where you get to enjoy limited-edition dolls as well as various festive items. Trust us, this is not only for kids!
