Giffard, the French-born global purveyor of liqueurs and syrups, celebrates the joie-de-vivre spirit for the French National Day (14 July) by inviting fourteen bars Bangkokwide to deliver their versions of French-inspired concoctions using the brand’s premium Menthe Pastille white mint liqueur.
Distilled from fresh Mitcham peppermint leaves grown in France with an addition of natural beet sugar, the Menthe Pastille has the refreshing minty note that is perfect for making after-dinner cocktails. From now until 21 July, fourteen venues come up with their interpretation of French spirit with the Menthe Pastille playing the leading role. You can expect the likes of a crossant-infused cocktail at Thonglor’s gin bar Just a Drink Maybe and 1789, the heady mixture of house-blended cognac, house-blended vermouth, Menthe Pastille and lemon bitters served at Brasserie Cordonnier – the brand new French restaurant with a strong vintage feel.
