Time Out says

Set on top of modish Italian eatery Opus Restaurant, Sinnerman is the newest Sathorn speakeasy by founder and cocktails connoisseur Franceso Moretti,  who takes inspiration from the sun, butterflies and 1900s sensuality to create a convivial space for drinkers, and to revive the sense of community lost in the city’s hustle and bustle.

Sinnerman is dark and mysterious yet still welcoming. “Sinners” are invited to come in for a classy yet friendly social gathering wherein bespoke cocktails and luxurious finger food help maximize the experience.

Moretti and his ingenious team of mixologists offer well-concocted signature cocktails that cater to every preference. Classic drinkers can go for their version of negroni (B360), which hits the palate with gin and the invigorating aftertaste of coffee. Those whose tastes run sweet can try Run, Sinnerman! (B340), an enjoyable drink with the lip-smacking tastes of apple, citrus and egg white, and hints of chamomile tea; or It Was Called Forbidden Fruit (B320), another easy-to-drink tipple infused with pandan. A Long-Forgotten Space (B360) is recommended for drinkers looking for something unique—it’s infused with the herbal flavors and aromas of cucumber, yuzu and homemade pea syrup.

At Sinnerman, you can also have a cocktail tailor-made based on your current mood and your preferred fragrance. It’s quite surprising how a drink fashioned after your own favor can totally hit the spot.

Sinnerman also partnered with Christian Martena, the executive chef at Clara, who has come up with delicious nibbles that perfectly complement the tipples, including Truffle Arancini (B260) and a dish of potato croquettes called Potatoes Explosion (B260). Meanwhile, heavier bites like Pork Bao (B260) and Wagyu Mini Bun (B360) are equally scrumptious.

The watering hole also holds various events, such as Sinnerwomen, a ladies’ night on Thursdays, and Bespoke Nights on Wednesdays where the menu is eschewed and diners are encouraged to be adventurous and drink what they’re served. Other nights host DJ sets and live band performances.

All in all, Sinnerman is ideal for enjoying a pocket-friendly cocktail and great food in an unassuming yet classy setting.
