Time Out says

The Mastermind who used to be behind now-defunct All Six To Twelve Cafe & Social Bar and Amontre Playroom & Brasserie has opened a new bar at the resort-inspired boutique hotel Craftsman. Baby Bar, a cozy poolside space, is swathed mostly in photogenic peachy pink, contrasting quite nicely with the wooden masculinity of the hotel.

The menu is an interesting list filled with updated Thai classics, such as the Spicy Tako Salad (B320), a dish—inspired by spicy cockle salad—that comes with octopus tentacles and loads of herbs; and the Fluffy “Kra-Prao” Omelette (B165), which lives up to its name with meringue-like eggs atop fried rice.

Those with bigger appetites can go for the larb pate (B220), which serves chicken liver in larb sauce with sourdough, or the fried gyo with Kani Miso Dip (B180), a rich offering that mixes crispy fried wantons, pomelo, chili, salmon roe, and the bar’s special kani miso dip. Some dishes may be a bit too sweet, however, probably to appease the Thai palate.

Moving on to the drinks, Baby Bar offers a good selection of cocktails, shooters beers and other alcoholic drinks. You have the gin-based Baby Shower (B250), a light and refreshing sipper that mixes lychee liqueur, Midori, egg white, and pineapple, as well as the rum-based Big Bang Theory (B280), which blends coffee and chocolate cookie with spiced rum. Those looking to party can have a go at their shooters, which includes the absinthe-topped Baby Bloom (B300).
