Situated on the premises of Saint Louis Hospital, the church was constructed as a tribute to Saint Louis (Louis IX), the King of France, whose name is shared by Louis Chorin, the founder of the church and the last French bishop of Bangkok. Its architecture is a mix of Gothic and contemporary styles and features the use of red brick. The church’s interior is absent of stained glass but is decorated with transparent mirrors that bring in natural light to the revered space.
